Rights in Old Age:

This room will be used for nursing services (two Certified Nurses will be available at all times for providing basic medical and nursing services for elderly people, and they will get paid by Manavoorukosam Charitable Foundation.

Illiteracy among the elderly in the villages of India is a major problem: 73% of the 60+ age group in the villages of India are illiterate, with little access to any basic educational services.

There is an urgent need to provide older people with the means to lead a full life, where they are provided with medical care and nursing. They need to have access to information, entertainment and the right to make their own choices.

Health:

Healthcare-related issues are basic to a community’s well being, especially for rural women. There is a lack of information about healthcare, especially about basic remedial issues related to diseases and health problems.

Telemedicine services, including remote diagnostics, treatment and follow-up are particularly valuable for rural people who can save precious time and money by not having to travel far away for some of those medical services

Emergency Vehicle Service:

Manavoorukosam Emergency Vehicle service will strive for the reduction of the infant mortality rate, maternal mortality rate as well as the general vulnerability of the people to a health crisis. We will set up a team for pre-hospital emergency transportation care, dealing with pregnancy cases, accidents, unconsciousness, paralysis, infection, fever, heart attack etc.

Emergency Response Services to the people of rural villages in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Improve the access to medical and health care, police and fire service, particularly attending emergency situations relating to pregnant women, neonates, parents of neonates, infant and children in situations of serious ill health and all other emergencies in the general population. This will assist the State to achieve the critical Millennium Development goals in the health sector, i.e. reduction of infant mortality rate, and maternal mortality rate, and in general reduce the vulnerability of the people by providing access to emergency response services.

To provide round the clock pre-hospital emergency transportation care (ambulance) services across all rural villages in Andhra Pradesh State.
To provide ambulances for critical patients; reliable and affordable transport for pregnant women and infants.
